More and more websites and magazines are featuring kitchen appliance tests and comparisons. We regularly subject our bread slicers to such tests and evaluations. Here is an overview of our bread slicers and how they performed in such tests:
2021 – HZ Haushaltswaren-Zeitung endurance test
Housewares endurance test: Manual bread slicer “amano5” from ritter. Conclusion: A very nice, easy to operate bread slicer in a premium design.
HZ Haushaltswaren-Zeitung is the trade publication for retailers and manufacturers in the lifestyle and kitchen, household goods and electric appliance sectors.
2020 – Haus & Garten Test
The manual bread slicers amano5 and amano5 Duo Plus were rated as “VERY GOOD” with a result of 1.2 by the test magazine Haus & Garten Test (edition 01/2021).
In particular, the manual bread slicers scored points for handling and workmanship.
The test magazine’s conclusion: “The manual bread slicers are capable of producing wafer-thin slices and feature a bamboo board that can be used as a serving tray and slides perfectly underneath the appliance.”
2020 – Haus & Garten Test
The bread slicers sono5 and sono5 Duo Plus received the top grade “VERY GOOD” with an overall result of 1.4 from the test magazine Haus & Garten Test (edition 01/2021).
The test magazine’s conclusion: “The electric bread slicers are stable thanks to their non-slip feet and deliver very good cutting results.”
2019 – Hausgeräte-Test.de
Comparison test: All-rounders in comparison. We entered our serano7 bread slicer in the comparison test. The editorial staff’s conclusion: All four bread slicers have earned their right to exist and are convincing under the most important aspect: Slicing various foods such as meats, cheese or bread.
2018 - Haus & Garten Test
Our bread slicer serano5 was rated as “VERY GOOD” by the test magazine Haus & Garten Test (edition 06/2018). The inclined full metal design of the bread slicer serano5 guarantees the best cutting results, especially for very thin slices, with an overall result of 1.4.
2015 - Haus & Garten Test
The fortis1 emerged as the clear winner in the bread slicer test conducted by Haus & Garten Test (edition 5/2015). By far the best final grade of 1.4 (very good) was earned by the bread slicer for its very good cutting results, handling and workmanship.
2011 - Haus & Garten Test
The serano7 was the test winner in edition 6.2011 of Haus & Garten Test with an overall result of 1.6 (good). By far the best cutting results and above-average workmanship contributed to the overall result.
2010 – ETM Testmagazin
ETM Testmagazin chose the bread slicer contura3 as the test winner in 2010. For years, ETM Testmagazin has served as a competent and comprehensible orientation aid for buying decisions in numerous product and service sectors. In a comparison test of eight bread slicers, the contura3 took first place with a “VERY GOOD” rating in the ETM Testmagazin (09/2010), making it the test winner.
