WEEE

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment directive refers to the reduction of the increasing amount of electronic waste from electric and electronic devices which are no longer used. The aim is to avoid, reduce and environmentally friendly dispose of the increasing amounts of electronic waste by means of an extended producer responsibility for the products.

The WEEE directive is not a standard directive uniformly applied in the European Union, but defines the minimum criteria for the collection of electric and electronic devices which might be tightened or exceeded by individual EU member states if required. ritterwerk is registered with the German Electrical Used Equipment Register.
